a live performance created for the final show of dirty suc’s “fillo do mar” tour, bringing galician tradition, contemporary movement and urban culture together on stage.
about the project.
dirty suc closed the “fillo do mar” tour at auditorio mar de vigo in front of around 1,000 people. the show brought dani suárez and a group of dancers into the live performance through choreography, movement direction and a shared visual concept.
the project connected galician tradition with a contemporary stage language. hip hop and freestyle became the foundation for a performance built around love, female empowerment and the memory carried across generations of women.
tradition in motion.
the movement took elements of the show’s cultural identity and translated them into something physical, direct and current. the choreography supported the music while giving the dancers a clear narrative role on stage.
movement with narrative.
dani suárez and raquel vázquez developed choreography that moved between precision and freedom. structured sequences were combined with hip hop and freestyle to keep the performance connected to both the story and the energy of a live concert.
from rehearsal to stage.
the project required the group to work as one unit while preserving the individual presence of each dancer. rehearsals focused on timing, stage position and the relationship between movement, music and the artist’s performance.
a shared visual language.
movement, art direction and styling were developed as parts of the same world. the aim was to connect the dancers with the identity of “fillo do mar” without losing the raw character of dirty suc’s live show.
